The Coop: HEN Hangouts
In February 2023, we launched The Coop: A Hen Hangout, a monthly virtual get-together for artists, activists, academics, and students involved with Hemispheric Encounters Network (HEN). The Coop creates space for HEN network members to meet each other and share our research and works-in-progress in an informal, supportive setting. Each month we curate a presenter or panel and follow up with discussions, feedback, and sparks for future collaborations. The format and languages of each gathering will vary according to the guests and topics, but we strive to keep sessions lively, flexible, and within an hour. The Coop is a relaxed space: bring beverages and snacks; costumes are encouraged.
