El Simposio Un hogar para nuestras migraciones \/ A Home for Our Migrations<\/em> reuni\u00f3 a acad\u00e9micos, artistas y activistas comunitarios en intensos di\u00e1logos, talleres, ponencias magistrales y performances. M\u00e1s de 50 ponentes invitados abordaron y reaccionaron a pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas emergentes y a las crecientes crisis migratorias y medioambientales. Entre los temas tratados figuraron pr\u00e1cticas curatoriales transformadoras, los futuros del arte p\u00fablico, acciones performativas, intersecciones entre el trabajo, la tierra y la memoria diasp\u00f3rica, la movilidad como m\u00e9todo art\u00edstico, pol\u00edticas de los desplazamientos y colaboraciones transnacionales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

El simposio fue co-presentado por Nuit Blanche Toronto<\/a>, Festival RUTAS<\/a> y Aluna Theatre,<\/a> Encuentros Hemisf\u00e9ricos,<\/a> The Space Between Us<\/a>, the aabijijiwan New Media Lab<\/a> en la Universidad de Winnipeg, Sensorium: Centre for Digital Arts and Technology<\/a> de la Facultad de Artes, Medios, Performance y Dise\u00f1o de la Universidad de York, y el Ayuntamiento de Toronto.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
